Katie grew up by the beach, in the small town of Seaville, in southern New Jersey. As a kid, Katie loved to sing and perform. She began voice lessons at the young age of 6. Her talent for singing and acting blossomed by participating in many children's musicals including, "Aladdin" in Aladdin, "Annie" in Annie, and her favorite, "Sebastian" in The Little Mermaid.
At Ocean City High School, she pursued the arts further, performing in a wide range of shows and musicals. After graduation, Katie was thrilled to move to the city of her dreams and attend Fordham University. At Fordham's Lincoln Center campus, she studied Acting, led by an amazing faculty through an intensive "company-style" theatre program. Four years of study later, with a B.A. in Theatre Performance, Katie traveled to Rome, Italy to fuse together her two passions: Acting and all things Italian. This unforgettable experience taught her the beauty of her Italian roots and her forever growing love of acting.
Presently, Katie has had the amazing opportunity to work in commercials, indie/short films, musicals, and even recording original music. Some of her recent projects include: the feature-length indie, "Heroes Don't Come Home" as female lead Lily, due for release in Spring 2016, her guest starring role in the incredible Jenji Kohan's Netflix hit, "Orange is the New Black" as "Mercy Valduto", also through the Holiday season you can see Katie and her real family in the Dick's Sporting Goods Holiday commercial "The Gift".
